“I’m beyond grateful to have been voted Ring Girl of the Year for both 2023 & 2024! This past year has been a whirlwind of back to back shows, and I can’t thank you all enough for the love and support,” Bertrand wrote on Instagram. “It means everything to be recognized doing what I love.”
McGregor, who is now a stakeholder in BKFC, had a short and powerful message for Bertrand. The Irishman wrote in the comments section: “My World Champion!”
Bertrand is a model who has dabbled in making adult content and taken her talents to the boxing promotion ProBox TV.
Meanwhile, McGregor became part owner of the BKFC in April 2024. “Notorious” is a frequent presence at major events and has also teased competing in bareknuckle boxing in the future. However, the former UFC double champ’s MMA career has seemingly come to a halt. McGregor hasn’t fought since suffering a leg break in a trilogy fight with Dustin Poirier in 2021. The Dubliner had also dropped three of his last four UFC outings. He even coached Season 31 of “The Ultimate Fighter” in 2023 opposite Michael Chandler, who he was supposed to fight eventually. However, despite teasing a return on multiple occasions, McGregor hasn’t been able to get back into action due to multiple reasons. His personal life also saw recent turmoil as he was found guilty in a civil rape case from an incident dateing back to 2018.
